Nameserver test service
The nameserver test service is a service that accepts request through a text-based protocol over TCP. This service is used by the registry to validate nameservers for active domains and may be used by the registrars to check their nameservers prior to executing appropriate EPP commands.
This service is available at TCP port 1053. Each registrar should have use this service to avoid getting rejected updates of DNS information or registered domains being reserved instead of activated. To use this service, read the Protocol description.
Limited technical support is available to those who have requested a test-account. Before requesting support, please check the Frequently Asked questions, test-section to see if that question was already answered.
