What is a transfer?
A transfer is the process whereby management of a domain name is transferred from one accredited .lu registrar to another. It is not to be mixed up with a transfer of ownership, called "trade”.
A transfer request needs formal approval by the admin-contactas representative of the holder. Former registrar does not interfer in this process.
In the event of approval, the futur registrar will be the exclusive contact for all admininistrative and technical modifications or any other question in relation with the domain name.
The registrar will fix itself the price of a domain name which may be different from the one of DNS-LU. The registrar will directly invoice the billing contact. - Transferring a name from one accredited registrar to another
