This is also the server on which future registrars have to execute their ability test. More details on this ability test can be found at the Registrar ability test section.

Registrar Interface

The registrar interface is a web-interface that provides read-only access du registrar's account information including contact details, current credit, history of charged transaction as well as listings of the objects sponsored by the registrar (domains, contacts and hosts).

This interface can be accessed at https://www.dns.lu/test-registrar/ and requires same authentication as EPP access.

Nameserver test service

The nameserver test service is a service that accepts request through a text-based protocol over TCP. This service is used by the registry to validate nameservers for active domains and may be used by the registrars to check their nameservers prior to executing appropriate EPP commands.

This service is available at TCP port 1053. Each registrar should have use this service to avoid getting rejected updates of DNS information or registered domains being reserved instead of activated. To use this service, read the Protocol description.
