Domain name Holder´s FAQ

Only DNS-LU may procede to the migration.

Overview of the process :

• The applicant in charge of the management of domain names of a certain holder must be a registered manager on the my.lu online platform. If you are a new applicant, please create a new user account.
• The person filing the power/agreement (the administrative contact or the holder himself) must be possession of the manager’s login and email address, exactly as registered on the my.lu online platform.
• If the administrative contact files the request, we recommend to check first whether he manages the whole portfolio of the holders’ domain names.  See section * How shall I procede in case a domain holder has granted power to several administrative contacts for its domain names ?
• The administrative contact or the holder himself finally introduces the “Request/ Agreement to give power for the management of a domain name on the online platform my.lu” by fax or mail at DNS-LU. Specific attention should be paid to the manager's login and its email address which must be completely and accurately filled in.

After reception of the valid power/agreement, the staff of DNS-LU performs the migration.
