To whom is the invoice sent and what information is included on the invoice?
If a domain name is managed through the DNS-LU online platform my-lu, the invoice is available in the manager’s account. The manager has the option to download the invoice and send it to anybody involved. No documents are sent by post or by any other method. The invoice gives the address of the billing contact, the reason for the invoice, the domain names, the price and the amount of VAT applicable and states that the invoice has been paid (paid by credit card).
If the domain name is managed using the DNS-LU classic procedure, the invoice is sent to the billing contact. The invoice shows the reason for invoicing, the domain names, the price, the amount of VAT applied, the payment terms (30 days) and information required for making the bank transfer. The invoice may also be paid by credit card by using our online payment service available on www.dns.lu. The amount due is directly recovered from the competent clearing authority. DNS-LU does not record any data provided by the billing contact. Preprinted slips provided with the invoice or any other written credit card payment instructions are not accepted.
If domain names are registered and managed through a registrar other than DNS-LU, you should contact your usual registrar directly. Registrars are solely responsible for laying down their own payment terms.
