Payment deadlines
If chargeable operations are requested through the online platform my.lu, they are only performed once the corresponding payment has been accepted. No payment deadline is set.
If the domain name is managed using the DNS-LU classic procedure and a payment is outstanding, two payment reminders are sent (at 30 days and at 60 days from invoice date) until the due date for the name. If no payment is received within 90 days, the corresponding domain name is deleted by DNS-LU. The name can then be restored for the original holder within 30 days of deletion subject to payment of a restoration fee. This fee is added to the registration fees due for commencement of a new one-year registration period.
If domain names are managed through a registrar other than DNS-LU, you should contact your usual registrar directly as it sets its own payment terms independently.
