How long does it take to register a domain name?
Generally speaking, operation requests can only be performed if the nature of the data entered or sent complies with both the registration policy and the conditions imposed by the system.
If the domain name is registered directly with DNS-LU via the online platform my.lu, valid operation requests are performed in real time by the system, subject to acceptance of the credit card payment. Operations can be performed 24 hours a days, 7 days a week.Valid, complete registration requests submitted to DNS-LU using the classic procedure before 3 pm on one working day are, in principle, processed the same day.
If the domain name is registered through a registrar other than DNS-LU, registration times may vary from one registrar to the next and may be subject to conditions independent of DNS-LU.
